User Behavior Analytics
Why User Behavior Analytics?
User Behavior Analytics (UBA) involves monitoring, collecting, and evaluating user data and activities through monitoring systems. UBA technologies analyze historical data logs, including network and authentication logs stored in log management and SIEM systems. They aim to identify patterns in user behaviors, distinguishing between normal and potentially malicious activities. UBA systems are designed to provide cybersecurity teams with actionable insights. Although UBA systems don’t take direct actions, they can be configured to automatically adjust user authentication difficulty in response to anomalous behavior.
